Ladybird Films is a London based animation production studios. The company develops, finances and produces films and TV primarily with a focus on children. We strive to create films of high quality, with strong stories and engaging characters.

The company was founded in 2013 by producer Marie Bro and director Siri Melchior.

Melchiors credits include the multi-award winning shortfilm The Dog who was a Cat inside (2002) which was nominated for a BAFTA and for the Cartoon d’Or and the also award-winning festival succes, Whistleless (2010). Siri has worked with clients such as Nickelodeon, Cbeebies, Virgin, Channel 4, and MTV and her work has been published in SHOTS, Computer Arts Magazine, Telecom Visual and Boards Magazine

Bros 30 years of experience has resulted in many critically acclaimed and award-winning shortfilms and features, including War of the Birds (1990), Circleen – Mice and Romance (2000) and The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Bear (2002). She has co-produced with prominent companies such as Les Armateurs (F), National Film Board of Canada (CA) and Zentropa (DK).
